# Contact

> Billing, account, and security reports.

Billing, account, and product questions go to [contact](/contact/sales). Include:

* The email on the account.
* The version from **Help → About**.
* What you tried, and what happened instead.

Do not send passwords, backup codes, or a dump of `.env` files.

## Billing

For charges, cancelled plans, or a missing upgrade, use the same contact form and say it is billing. Have the last four of the payment method if you can.

## Security

Security issues go through [SECURITY.md](https://github.com/useshape/Shape/blob/main/SECURITY.md) on GitHub. Do not file those as a normal product question.

## Status

If chat, sign-in, or billing is down for everyone, check [status](/status) before you write in.
